The Stupidity of Dogs

On The other hand, Sébastien is utterly incapable of understanding whether or not people are his friends. I have friends who don't like him. He has yet to process this information.

I know a number of cat lovers, and Sébastien is a particularly doggy dog and is somewhat emotionally needy. Other dogs are taught to beg for food. He sits up and begs in elevators so strangers will pet him.
